This workshop is designed for officers, stewards, grievance reps and activists. Its purpose is to provide partcipants with basic knowledge and skills necessary to understand the Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA). The workshop will focus on eligibility requirements, qualifying conditions, and certification requirements to enable CSEA activists to be better prepared to represent CSEA Members who wish to use the FMLA.

Westchester Medical Center: Executive Salaries

VALHALLA — Despite the recession, Westchester Medical Center's top administrators took home healthy salaries — some with hundreds of thousands in bonuses — as the hospital cut 400 jobs in 2009 and falls $25 million short of balancing its budget this year......Gary Brudnicki, 56, the medical center's senior vice president and chief operating officer, earned a $150,000 bonus in addition to his $575,000 base salary, bringing his total 2009 compensation to $738,854.
